Thanks for explaining that eCommerce shipping includes the consideration of who is actually delivering the package to the customers door. I want to find a shipping service to forward some items from the UK because there are some retail items I want to buy, but the online options don’t include the US. I’m glad I read your article because now I better understand the shipping process and can ask the right questions when choosing a forwarding service.

We use USPS extensively but lose a bit of money doing it that way. I’ve noticed many people are using some type of no rush ground rate in order to offer free shipping to their customers but I’m not exactly sure where they’re getting it from. Anyone have an idea?

My company has used USPS, UPS, and FedEx. FedEx is the one we have stuck with. They are and have been absolutely the best…least amount of damage to packages, most amount of on time packages, fantastic customer service, etc. Cannot recommend FedEx enough.
